'Computer' in the broadest sense is the main regulator of information technology in today's civilization. The possibility of unlimited use of information technology has given birth to the concept of 'Global Village'. The new economic superpower, China, and famine-stricken Somalia are equally in need of information technology. Building a digital Bangladesh is a timely realization of the Bangladesh government in such a reality of the economic and geopolitical field of the world.Our goal is sustainable e-governance through the successful application of information technology at all levels of the country. Ensuring free access and flow of information is a prerequisite for building a digital Bangladesh. I firmly believe that with the implementation of an information-rich 'National Web Portal' with the participation of all, we will be able to take this information technology one step further and bring information services to the doorsteps of the people.
